{"id":91,"date":"2020-11-10T03:50:16","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T03:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/codeflarelimited.com\/blog\/?p=91"},"modified":"2021-05-31T05:44:46","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T04:44:46","slug":"arithmetic-operators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/codeflarelimited.com\/blog\/arithmetic-operators\/","title":{"rendered":"Arithmetic Operators"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Arithmetic operators are used in mathematical expressions much the same way they are used in algebra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a list of them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Addition (+):<\/strong> Adds the values on either side of the operator.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"javascript\" class=\"language-javascript\">A = 10, B = 5;\nA+B = 15<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Subtractions (-):<\/strong> Subtracts values on either side of the operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"javascript\" class=\"language-javascript\">A-B = 5<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>3. <strong>Multiplication (*):<\/strong> Multiplies values on either side of the operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"javascript\" class=\"language-javascript\">A*B = 50<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>4. <strong>Division (\/):<\/strong> Divides the left-hand operand by the right-hand operand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"javascript\" class=\"language-javascript\">A\/B = 2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>5. <strong>Modulus (%):<\/strong> Returns the remainder of a division operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"javascript\" class=\"language-javascript\">A%B = 0\n\/\/10 \/ 5 is 2 with a remainder 0<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>5.
